Every day, we are dealing with an enormous number of dogs who will be euthanized due to lack of space in shelters. Rescues and network enthusiasts are exhausted, trying to help dogs who are running out of time. Some get lucky. Some don’t. This fundraiser is for the ones who are still waiting.
MEET HANDSOME LOKI
Loki was returned from a foster home back to the shelter and is now back on the Code Red kill list, which means he is at risk of being euthanized.
He was left in the night drop area at Riverside, CA, and immediately became an at-risk dog.
Handsome Loki has been there almost 3 months.
Despite everything, Loki looks happy and playful in his play-yard videos.
Animal ID: #A1878112
Gender: Male
Breed: Shepherd
Age: 3 years old / 58 lbs
Location: Riverside Shelter
Kennel Substatus: SPACE
Comments: Loki is declining in the shelter environment.
WHY FUNDS ARE NEEDED
When adopters don’t come, rescues step in — but rescues cannot pull dogs without funds.
Your donation will be used to:
• Cover pull fees from the shelter
• Support the rescue organization that commits to saving Loki
• Help with initial care, transport, and placement
This fundraiser exists for one purpose only:
To give a rescue the ability to say, “YES, we can save him.”
HOW YOU CAN HELP (3 POWERFUL WAYS)
1. Adopt — The Perfect Outcome
If you or someone you know can adopt Loki, this is the best possible ending. A home saves his life instantly. Please visit the shelter’s official website for adoption details. Link
2. Donate — Help a Rescue Pull Loki
Donate if you can. Even small amounts matter — they add up to freedom.
3. Share — Visibility Saves Lives
Sharing Loki’s story costs nothing and can change everything. One share can reach the right person at the right moment.
PLEASE DON’T SCROLL PAST LOKI
Three months in a shelter is too long.
Shelter life slowly erases hope.
Loki is waiting.
Rescue is ready — but only if we help.
Thank you for caring.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for giving Loki a chance.
