Every day, we are dealing with an enormous number of dogs who will be euthanized due to lack of space in shelters. Rescues and network enthusiasts are exhausted, trying to help dogs who are running out of time. Some get lucky. Some don’t. This fundraiser is for the ones who are still waiting.
MEET HANDSOME HENRY
Henry is an at-risk dog at Riverside County Animal Control – Coachella Shelter.
He is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who is gentle, affectionate, and deeply loved by staff and volunteers.
Henry leans into people, seeks connection, and has the kind of presence that stays with you. In an overcrowded shelter environment, the constant stress has made him dog-selective, but this does not define who he is. He is sweet, healthy, and full of potential.
Sadly, in a shelter overwhelmed by lack of space, dogs like Henry are at risk of euthanasia simply because there is no room left.
Henry has been at the shelter since November 19, 2025, and time is not on his side.
